Aquaterra Certification to Iso 45001

Further to our recent successful audit by BSI AquaTerra Group has now been certified to ISO 45001. This represents an independent confirmation of our commitment to excellence in Health and Safety, underpinned by our year on year performance improvement.

Our HSE results speak for themselves, and 2019 was no exception, with another outstanding performance despite this being our busiest year to date and with some of the most technically challenging engineering and construction projects ever undertaken by AquaTerra.

It will come as no surprise to many of our clients and partners that following our audit AquaTerra was recommended for immediate certification. The Directors and senior management team at AquaTerra Group have always regarded health, safety and personal well-being as fundamental cornerstones in building a successful business.

Rather than simply look to rules and procedures and safety campaigns and compliance, AquaTerra’s approach has been to focus on nurturing the right safety culture, behaviours and attitudes throughout our organisation and in those working alongside us; we’ve prioritised commitment to leadership, engagement, ownership and a sense of shared responsibility. These are elements that were commended during our audit and allowed us to achieve certification first time and without non-conformity.

ISO 45001 certification is further confirmation that AquaTerra is committed to best practice in the workplace, minimising risk and potential harm, and providing our staff and personnel, clients, business partners and suppliers with a safe environment in which to work.
